5 Putting into operation

52 R-220 SE Operation Manual, Version F

Preparational steps:

• Install the appropriate glassware conﬁguration between the gearbox and the y-piece

• Install the support ring at the support rod on a low position

• Install the shut-off tap at the y-piece

Main installation:

Connect the ball joint of the y-piece to the glassware conﬁguration outlet. Fixate the

joint with an EasyClamp (DN 25).

Place the receiving ﬂask on the support ring .

➥ Keep the receiving ﬂask upright with one hand.

➡ Adjust the support ring until the ball joint between the receiving ﬂask and the

y-piece is seated without tension.

Fixate the support ring in this position. Shift the anti-slip o-ring to bring it into contact

with the retaining bracket.

➡ Fixate the joint towards the y-piece with an EasyClamp (DN 25).

Install the draining valve with an EasyClamp (DN 25).
